Photos from this weekend show a motorhome parked on Regency Square in Brighton, right in front of the i360. The vehicle arrived on Saturday and has since departed.
A table and chairs were also seen set up in front of the motorhome.
Earlier, a motorhome parked on the grass from August 10 to August 13, with an awning and deck chairs laid out on the green.
One resident noted at the time, “Legally parked vehicles now surround the square, completely boxing in the motorhome on all sides.”
Another resident described the actions of those who parked on the grass as “entitled.”
Brighton and Hove City Council issued a notice instructing the motorhome owner to leave after receiving complaints from residents to the council’s parking enforcement team.
Sussex Police and Brighton and Hove City Council have been contacted for further information.
