Celebrating its 10th edition, the music festival is set to make a return on October 12.

Festival organisers, Tenement TV and DF Concerts, have released the first wave of acts, headlined by Declan Welsh and The Decadent West along with over 20 more artists.

In addition to the headlining act, the festival features Bottle Rockets, Neon Waltz, Redolent, and Slix among others.

Other performers confirmed include Aim For Two, Dallas Love Field, Dutch Wine, Honey, Imogen & The Knife, Kilgour, Kuleeangee, Lacuna, Majesty Palm, Parliamo, Peach Crumb, PVC, Slate, The Era, The Pill, The Zebecks, TTSSFU, and YESNOMAYBE.

The festival will take over the East End of Glasgow for 12 hours of lively music.

The Tenement Trail festival occurs every October in venues such as The Barrowland Ballroom, Saint Luke’s, BAAD, Van Winkle, 226 Gallowgate, and McChuills.

Attendees can look forward to discovering the best-emerging bands and artists.

Previous Tenement Trail festivals have featured megastars like Lewis Capaldi, Sam Fender, and Yungblud.

Headliner Declan Welsh said: “Tenement TV were the first ever people to put me on a festival line-up.

“They’ve been with me ever since so to headline Tenement Trail feels like a proper homecoming moment.

“Excited is an understatement.”

Festival founder, Chae Houston, said: “This is the 10th edition of Tenement Trail festival and we’re so excited to have Declan Welsh and The Decadent West on the bill.

“Their headline set is going to be one to remember!

The festival also announced its partnership with Tennent’s Lager.

Senior brand manager for Tennent’s Lager, Hazel Alexander, said: “We are delighted to partner with Tenement Trail again in 2024, as part of our SpotLight Project which is investing 3.5 per cent of Tennent’s Light’s profits into grassroots Scottish arts and culture.

“Supporting the music industry in Scotland is something we’re extremely proud to do and we cannot wait to see Trail venues filled with local talent again this October.”
