This marks the first general election since the 2019 edition, which saw the Conservatives secure victory and Boris Johnson become Prime Minister.

As polling stations remain open from 7am to 10pm, the latest exit polls will be unveiled at 10pm, with final results confirmation expected in the early morning hours.

BBC Coverage:
BBC’s Election 2024 coverage begins at 9.55pm and continues until 6am, followed by Election 2024: The Results airing until 1pm. Laura Kuenssberg and Clive Myrie will lead the overnight coverage, joined by political editor Chris Mason and Reeta Chakrabarti.

ITV Coverage:
ITV starts its election coverage at 9.50pm and runs until 6am, followed by Good Morning Britain until 9.25am. Election 2024 Live: The Results will then air until 3.30pm, hosted by Tom Bradby alongside figures like Nicola Sturgeon, George Osborne, Ed Balls, and Robert Preston.

Channel 4 Coverage:
Krishnan Guru-Murthy and Emily Maitlis host Channel 4’s Britain Decides with The Rest is Politics and Gogglebox from 9.45pm to 9am. Guests include Alastair Campbell, Rory Stewart, and familiar faces from Gogglebox.

Sky News:
Sky News begins with The Battle for Number 10: Election Breakfast from 9pm to 9am, followed by Election Live with Sophy Ridge. Kay Burley leads the overnight coverage with guests like Beth Rigby, Sir Trevor Phillips, Ed Conway, and Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham.
