TikTok star and model Caz Milligan was scheduled to face Ibrox hero Nacho Novo in a fight at a Glasgow venue on August 10.
However, Caz has now informed his followers that the event will not proceed due to various reasons. The event has also been removed from the Hydro’s website.
In an Instagram video addressing his fans, Caz took responsibility, saying, “I bit off more than I can chew. I’ll take accountability for that. I had a successful first event in a hotel, made contacts with the Hydro and Novo, and got too excited, moving too quickly.”
He also acknowledged Nacho Novo’s health history, mentioning Novo’s previous heart attack while playing for the Rangers legends in 2018. Novo underwent emergency surgery and had a pacemaker fitted.
Caz admitted, “I didn’t know about his heart conditions or his heart attack before signing the contracts. I should have done my research before committing to Nacho Novo. I got carried away with the opportunities presented to me.”
Previously, Novo reassured fans that he had received medical clearance for the fight, stating his heart was “stronger than ever.”
Caz assured ticket holders that Ticketmaster would contact them for refunds, acknowledging the financial setback: “This is a setback in my journey. It has cost me tens of thousands of pounds – I’ve lost a lot of money. This is the reality of entrepreneurship; you win some, you lose some, and you learn along the way.”
