Four men were arrested on the grounds of Rishi Sunak’s home in Kirby Sigston, North Yorkshire, on June 25, according to North Yorkshire Police.

They were detained by officers at approximately 12.40pm and escorted off the property.

The men from London, aged 52, Bolton, aged 43, Manchester, aged 21, and Chichester, aged 20, were then arrested for aggravated trespass.

A video was released on social media by action group Youth Demand which appeared to show a protester entering the lake on the prime minister’s property and defecating.

The group said that a press photographer was amongst the four people arrested.

Youth Demand is an environmental action group calling for an arms ban on Israel and an end to all new oil and gas licences in the UK.

The group called the incident a “thank you and a parting gift to Rishi Sunak and the Tories for the last 14 years of service”.
