TrustFord unveiled the latest dealership at 21 Napier Road, Hillington Park on Tuesday, June 18.

The state of the art facility covers almost 4 acres, including showroom and workshop space dedicated to new cars, vans, Motability, servicing, and fleet operations.

To meet demand, 50 colleagues have been recruited and trained, increasing the number of TrustFord colleagues employed in Scotland to 175.

The opening of the new site represents TrustFord’s ongoing investment in the region adding to their existing fleet, Parts Plus and Mobile Service operations.

The dealership also meets BREEAM ‘excellent’ standards with the highest environmental specifications including air-source heat pumps to reduce emissions from heating and solar PV panels to generate electricity.

Using LED lighting and roof lights to maximise natural light also improves energy efficiency.

Customers can also take advantage of wider shopping choices including home delivery, phone appointments, or live video appointments.

Meanwhile, TrustFord Now enables customers to drive a used car or van home within one hour, and there is support for fleet customers in the area interested in discussing car, van, or aftersales needs.

Following a tour of the newly opened site, Lisa Brankin, chair and managing director of Ford of Britain, and Ireland, cut the ribbon alongside TrustFord’s CEO Stuart Mustoe.

Lisa said: “I am hugely impressed with this spectacular new site which will provide a fantastic platform for Ford’s latest new passenger and commercial vehicles, including the new Kuga and Puma, all new E-Custom and Explorer.

“I would like to thank the TrustFord board and their team for all their support in bringing this new location to life and I wish the Glasgow team every success in the future.”

Stuart added: “We are delighted to open the doors to our new energy-efficient, state-of-the-art dealership in Glasgow, which is integral to our ongoing sustainability strategy.

“This significant investment represents our long-term commitment to supporting Ford customers in Glasgow and the west of Scotland.”

“It has been a privilege to spend time with the new team and to thank them in person for their hard work ahead of today’s opening.”
