Authorities have closed New Church Road in Hove following a collision between a Mazda and an Audi this afternoon.
The airbags of the red Mazda deployed upon impact, severely crumpling its bonnet. The driver’s side of the Audi also sustained significant damage.
Traffic is being redirected via Portland Road or the A259 Kingsway, affecting bus routes 1, 1A, and 6.
The Argus has reached out to Sussex Police for further comments.
