A tragic incident has occurred involving a teenage boy in a motorbike accident.

Late last night (June 9), a police officer discovered a bike that had been in a collision on Main Road, Biggin Hill.

Emergency services provided first aid to two teenage boys at the scene before paramedics arrived.

Regrettably, the 17-year-old involved in the crash was pronounced deceased. His family has been notified and is receiving support from specialized officers.

The second boy was transported to the hospital; fortunately, his injuries are not life-threatening. However, he has been detained in connection with the ongoing investigation and is being held at a south London police station.

Detectives are particularly interested in locating a vehicle that may have been near the motorbike during the accident. They are working to find the car and its occupants to ascertain if it played a role in the tragic event.
