Cyclists and moped riders were told to stop when the blades were spinning to stop them falling over in the downwash.
The chopper’s specialist doctors were called in just before 11am to help paramedics who were treating a patient at a property in nearby Courtenay Terrace in Hove.
A spokesman for the KSS Air Ambulance said: “A helicopter from Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS) was dispatched to Hove on 6 June.
“Our crew worked with Secamb to help treat the patient, involved in a medical incident.
“They then transported the patient to hospital by road with our crew accompanying them in the ambulance to continue delivering their care en route.”

Firefighters from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were also called in to help the ambulance service.
Once the patient left for hospital, fire crews created a perimeter for the helicopter to take off again with cyclists and moped riders being told to stop.
The lawns were recently cut by Brighton and Hove City Council which caused loose grass to be flung into the air by the rotors.
