Yvonne Kinasz attended the second day of the two-day display celebrating Corpus Christi on Thursday, May 30.
She captured the incredible spectacle and the beautiful interiors of Arundel Cathedral.
A team of volunteers created a stunning 90ft floral carpet along the central aisle of Arundel Cathedral in just one day.
The beautiful floral displays were not limited to the floor.
Each year features a different design theme, meticulously drawn on paper before thousands of flowers are laid.
Visitors are allowed to walk on the carpet, designed to be enjoyed as a spectacle for two days.
The tradition, now world-famous, dates back to 1877 when Henry Fitzalan-Howard, the 15th Duke of Norfolk, saw a floral carpet in the Italian village of Sutri, near Rome.
As the founder of the Church of Our Lady and St. Philip Neri, which later became Arundel Cathedral, the Duke decided to replicate the tradition. Nearly 150 years later, it continues to thrive.
