Police reported the recovery of cannabis valued at an estimated £245k following searches at two addresses in Comely Bank, Hamilton.

Officers conducted the raids on Thursday, May 30.

Sergeant Andy Murray of Hamilton Police Station stated, “Enquiries are ongoing to uncover the full circumstances and identify those involved. We urge anyone with information to contact us via 101, quoting incident number 2430 of May 29.”

He emphasized, “Drugs cause significant harm in our communities, and the public’s assistance is crucial in targeting those engaged in the cultivation, supply, and sale of illegal substances. We encourage anyone with concerns or information about drugs in their community to reach out to us through 101 or contact Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111, where they can remain anonymous.”
