New Love Island Series to Feature Sussex Footballer and Brighton Dancer

The upcoming season of ITV2’s popular dating show will introduce a group of singles entering the Majorca villa in hopes of finding romance.

Among the initial participants as the eleventh series premieres next Monday are Lewes FC footballer Ronnie Vint and Harriett Blackmore, a personal shopper and dancer from Brighton.

Having recently ended a three-year relationship, Harriett is optimistic about finding love in the villa. She has experience in personal shopping, including for Brighton rapper Arrdee.

“I aim to bring entertainment to everyone in the villa, whether it’s making the girls laugh or catching the boys’ attention. Drama is inevitable,” she expressed.

Loyalty and trust rank high for Harriett in potential connections. “Besides looks and personality, I seek good energy and compatibility,” she added, mentioning her party trick of doing splits after a few drinks.

For Ronnie, participating in Love Island feels timely. “At 27, I’m ready to focus on finding a life partner. While I’ve enjoyed being single and prioritizing my football career, I’m now looking for something more meaningful,” he shared.

A friend of former contestant Olivia Attwood and her husband, footballer Bradley Dack, Ronnie has a fondness for mayonnaise and looks for family-oriented, caring, and ambitious partners.

Reacting to Ronnie’s participation, Lewes FC wished him luck, recalling the past involvement of Tyrique Hyde in the show.

Love Island’s new season premieres on Monday, June 3, at 9 pm.
