Police responded to an incident at a location on Broomfield Road in Barmulloch, Glasgow, on Saturday afternoon following reports of a disturbance and an alleged assault.
A 29-year-old man was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries sustained.
Law enforcement has apprehended and charged a 24-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman in relation to multiple offenses. They are scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
A spokesperson from Police Scotland stated, “On Saturday, 11 May 2024, at approximately 2 pm, police were called to a property on Broomfield Road, Glasgow, following reports of a disturbance and the serious assault of a 29-year-old man.
“The injured individual received medical attention at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
“Both a 24-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman have been arrested and charged in connection with several offenses. They are due to attend Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 13 May 2024.”
