The TT Group, a property investment and development company, has revealed their plans to initiate a new high-rise mixed-use development that will introduce fresh residential options on Elliot Street at Lancefield Quay in Glasgow.
According to the firm, the current site houses a vacant data center building, and their proposed plans are tailored to complement the ongoing extensive revitalization of the River Clyde waterfront area.
The envisioned development encompasses a variety of housing types, including Build-to-Rent, private sale residences, Co-Living spaces, and accommodations for students. Additionally, flexible commercial units are being considered to cater to the burgeoning community, along with complementary landscaping and parking facilities for residents.
The company has formally submitted a Proposal of Application Notice to the Glasgow City Council, marking the commencement of a 12-week minimum pre-application statutory consultation period.
The first of two consultation events is scheduled for May 16, 2024, from 3 pm to 7 pm at The Pyramid at Anderston.
Sam Rosenkranz from the TT Group expressed enthusiasm about the plans, highlighting the creation of new housing options for city residents. He emphasized the strategic alignment of these plans with the ongoing area regeneration, aiming to foster activity and connectivity along the River Clyde corridor.
Interested parties are encouraged to attend the in-person events on May 16 and June 13 at The Pyramid at Anderston, where the project team will be available to engage with the local community, discuss the proposals, and address any queries.
