At around 9.15pm on Friday, April 26, acting on intelligence cops stopped a vehicle on the M73 near Baillieston.
They recovered cannabis along with £10,000 in cash.
A drug warrant was then executed at a property on Langlands Place in Cumbernauld at around 1.45am on Saturday, April 27.
A further quantity of cannabis was found. The drugs were estimated to have a total street value of around £286,000.
A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the discovery.
He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, April 29.
