There were delays to rail services after a trespasser had to be escorted off the tracks.
Police were called to Gillingham Railway Station this evening following reports of a person on the line.
Response staff from Network Rail were on site and rail operator Southeastern said police “apprehended” a person.
Power had to be switched off shortly before 8pm while they were removed but it was restored within the hour so services could resume.
Trains were delayed for up to 25 minutes, but disruption has now eased.
Live departure and arrival information can be found here.
Southeastern and the police have been contacted for additional comment.
