Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, chances are you’ve heard of Hill House Home! This brand has taken the world of interiors and fashion by storm over the past few years. And for good reason. Their products are both beautiful and high-quality. Not only has the most-adored Hill House dress, the Nap Dress, become a staple in my closet, but I have fallen in love with many of their other pieces as well.
Today is an especially exciting day for this brand, as Hill House launched their Heritage collection. As usual, it is so good! In honor of the launch, I thought it would be fun to chat about the history of this brand, my favorite pieces from the latest drop, other HHH items that I own and love, and some buying and sizing tips.
About Hill House Home
Founded in NYC by Nell Diamond, Hill House Home launched their online business in 2016. It didn’t take long for them to expand from an online-only shop to physical storefronts. They now have store locations in Palm Beach, Nantucket, and Rockefeller Center in New York City. Not only have they grown in terms of stores, but they have also expanded their product lines. What started off as a bedding and home label has become so much more. Hill House Home carries pieces for babies and kids, women’s apparel, as well as women’s shoes.
The Iconic Hill House Dress
You simply can’t talk about this brand without mentioning the most iconic Hill House dress, the Nap Dress! This dress made its debut in 2019 and went viral during the pandemic. It’s comfortable enough to sleep in, but also dressy enough to wear to a baby shower or brunch. This dress developed a cult-like following, including yours truly. I own four Nap Dresses, and like countless other women across the globe, I love how easy it is to throw on and wear during the warm months.
The Ellie Dress
The Ellie is the original Hill House Home dress that went viral, and five years later, it’s still one of their most-loved styles. It consists of a smocked bodice, a tiered midi skirt, and smocked, ruffle shoulders. It’s forgiving, comfortable, and dressy, without being fussy, making it a must-have in my book!
Other Nap Dresses
Over the years, this Ellie Dress has been reimagined in new prints and innovative materials. It has even evolved into slightly differentiated details. Hill House Home now offers dozens of iterations of the Nap Dress. The Cosima, the Elise, and the original Ellie are my personal favorites, but there are so many great styles. Are you into lace? Hill House Home Heritage Collection
Just today Hill House Home dropped their heritage collection. It celebrates all of their best-selling silhouettes and prints from over the years. Their drops are famous for selling out super fast, so if you missed out in the past, now is the time to grab these styles! Here are my top three favorites from today’s launch!
1. Blue Botanical Ellie
The popular Hill House Home blue botanical print is back! Today’s drop features this print in both the Ellie and the Nesli. Personally, my favorite piece in this stunning floral print is the classic Ellie! I would pair it with sky blue heels, a rattan bag, and statement earrings.
2. Midnight Garden Anjuli
A dark floral feels so chic for high summer, so I am elated that this print is back. The Midnight Garden print has been reissued in both the Ellie and the Anjuli. I love how elegant this elevated print feels in this more streamlined silhouette. I would pair this Hill House dress with a minimal black sandal and a black satin bag.
3. Navy Trellis Vivi
Minis are having a moment, and the Vivi mini is back in the best-selling navy trellis print. This design is absolutely beautiful and as timeless as they come. While this Hill House dress is perfect for so many occasions, it screams Fourth of July! It would look great paired with either strappy sandals or heels.

Outside of today’s launch, there are a few other HHH staples that aren’t to be missed. With the brand expanding to so many categories and continuing to innovate fabrics, there is so much to love! These are some additional Hill House Home products that I own and adore.
1. The Hotel Robe
There is nothing I love more than a plush, comfy, terry robe. The Hill House Hotel Robe has to be one of my all-time favorites. It has an amazing loft, a great fit, and can be customized! I also love that the robe and so many other styles from this brand come in extended sizes!
2. The Party Platform
As you know, platforms are my preferred heel these days. The Hill House Home Party Platform is comfortable, runs true to size, and comes in so many amazing iterations. I have a light blue pair that I’ve styled with everything from a monochromatic black look to a statement skirt and sweater outfit. My current favorite pair is this navy and white polka dot, which is perfect for summer. I will be wearing it with this matching polka dot dress for a head-to-toe printed moment, a look that has become one of my defining styles over the years!
3. The Lace Ellie Dress
It may be nestled under the Bridal Shop on their website, but the lace Ellie is a Hill House dress that is great for any occasion. Honestly, there are so many beautiful items in the Bridal Shop, so be sure not to skip over this category! Some of my other favorites in this section include the Coco Duster and the lace nap dress with contrast ribbon.
Hill House Home Buying Facts
Since I’ve placed my fair share of Hill House Home orders over the years and tried out many different pieces, I thought it might be helpful to share a few buying facts.
- Sizing: I find Hill House styles in both apparel and shoes to fit true to size.
- Returns: Domestically, all styles not marked final sale are eligible to be returned within 15 days. And good news, the returns are free!
- Shipping: Ground shipping is free on domestic orders of $150+. International shipping is a bit steep at a $35 flat fee for Canada orders and a $50 flat fee for international orders. This fee is tough when only ordering one style, but it makes more sense when you are stocking up!
- Discounts: Hill House Home doesn’t run a ton of promotions or sales, but I would suggest signing up for their SMS alerts or email messages. They notify their subscriber list first when there are promotions, sales, and new drops.
- Care Instructions: You’ll want to check the detailed care instructions on the product’s tag or on the “details + care” section of the product’s website page, as the instructions vary by piece.
Hill House Home Dresses & More
Over the last few years, Hill House dresses have become as much of a staple piece in my summer wardrobe as a great pair of jean shorts or a one piece swimsuit. Their styles can be dressed up with heels or worn casually with strappy sandals, styled with a low chic bun or with big loose waves, and worn alone or worn layered under a turtleneck. When it comes to versatility, quality, and beauty, Hill House Home continues to knock it out of the park, and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for the future!
