This will be Bluewater’s first ever artisan event, held in partnership with Funyard Events – and it’s free to enter.
Set to be held in The Village car park on Saturday, March 9 and on Mother’s Day on Sunday, March 10, the market will showcase products from the region’s best designers and independent creators.
Visitors can look forward to a range of unique Mother’s Day gifts, such as candles, jewellery, homeware, with street food and sweet treats also on offer.
Confirmed vendors include The Scarlet Ribbon from Maidstone, offering handcrafted silver jewellery, and Pure Cacao, also from Maidstone, selling health-conscious, raw vegan chocolate.
Dartford-based Janet Interiors will be selling meticulously curated terrariums, among other items.
James Waugh, Centre Director at Bluewater, said: “It feels great to come together and celebrate the region’s talented artists and makers with such a unique and exciting event, here at Bluewater.
“We can’t wait to browse the stalls and enjoy the food on offer – plus our guests may find the perfect, one-of-a-kind Mother’s Day gift here.”
Stuart, co-founder of Funyard Events, added: “This Spring we are excited to co-host the first ever Bluewater Artisan Event, celebrating small local businesses by giving them a premium platform in which to showcase their products and establish their small brand within a commercial environment.”
The open-air event will run from 9am – 8pm on March 9, and 11am – 5pm on March 10.
After exploring the artisan market, guests can enjoy shopping at more than 300 stores and places to eat inside Bluewater.
Other activities at the shopping centre include a 17 screen Showcase Cinema de Lux including IMAX, Gravity Trampoline Park, Dinotropolis Giant Soft Play, and Hangloose Adventure.
