Road cops say they stopped five drivers who were driving ‘whilst using their mobile telephones’ in the city this morning (Tuesday, February 27).
Following that, each of them was issued with a £200 fine and six penalty points.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “During a wet and windy morning patrol in Glasgow, officers from the National Motorcycle Unit stopped five drivers who were driving whilst using their mobile telephones.
“Each was issued a fixed penalty ticket and they now face 6pts and a £200 fine.
“Is it really worth it?”
