Swathes of the county are included in the yellow weather warning for rain issued by the Met Office earlier today.
The warning means that Hastings, Eastbourne, Seaford and other parts of East Sussex could face more heavy rain tomorrow afternoon and into Monday morning.

The Met Office’s yellow weather warning, also covering London and large parts of the South East, is in place from 3pm on Sunday until 9am on Monday, February 26.
The warning extends as far west as Lewes and also includes Uckfield, Crowborough and other areas further inland.

The warning for “persistent rain perhaps leading to flooding” does not include Brighton or Haywards Heath.
Met Office officials warn that there is a “small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings”.
Some areas could also be cut off by flooded roads.
The weather will not affect Brighton’s Half Marathon which is due to take place tomorrow.
Delays are also possible on flooded sections of public transport routes including buses and Southern Rail trains in East Sussex.
