The keys to 824 rental homes at Moda in Hove will be handed over from as soon as April and studios, one-bed, two-bed and three-bed homes are up for grabs.
A 24-hour concierge, 24/7 fitness with personal trainers plus dance and yoga studios, dedicated co-working spaces, residents’ lounges, a private dining room and cinema room are all available for residents in the six buildings on site.
Katja Harjanne, General Manager at Moda, Hove Central said: “I can’t wait to open our doors to residents and the Hove community and show them this beautiful neighbourhood.
“A huge amount of consideration and planning has gone into designing our homes and amenity spaces, and I know that people will be amazed when they walk through the door.”
Every flat, starting at 44 square metres, comes furnished and residents will also be able to make use of brand partnerships and events through the MyModa app.
Sixty per cent of the 8.8-acre site is designated as public gardens for residents and the public, and a £450,000 public art scheme marked the largest contribution to public space development seen from a private company in the city,
Katja added: “The team has an exciting programme of events already lined up along with exclusive partnerships from across the city to offer to residents. We are dedicated to building a happy and healthy community at Moda, Hove Central, and we look forward to welcoming our first residents soon.”
The cheapest property, a studio flat, will cost £1,300 per month. Ten per cent of homes are offered at a discounted rent through Brighton and Hove City Council.
The development has been praised by Hove MP Peter Kyle.
He said: “Working with Moda Living during the delivery of Moda, Hove Central has been a refreshing and rewarding experience; their commitment to supporting and enhancing our existing community has been genuine and had a tangible impact in Brighton and Hove.
“It is so exciting that after all our collaboration, the neighbourhood is ready to welcome residents and bring this pivotal development for Hove into its next exciting phase.”
