Alfie Mack-Hudson, of Elizabeth Street in Greenhithe, was arrested and later jailed for 18 weeks for multiple offences.
On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, the 27-year-old entered a pub on High Street and immediately started being offensive towards an employee.
As he was being asked to leave and escorted from the premises, he assaulted customer who was assisting the bar staff.
Mack-Hudson then went on to enter a second pub on the same road, where he continued his aggressive behaviour by verbally abusing a staff member and issuing threats.
When the victim attempted to call the police, he knocked the phone out of her hand before leaving the establishment.
Police on local patrol were alerted and officers quickly located Mack-Hudson nearby.
The situation escalated further as he resisted arrest and assaulted two female constables, attempting to bite them in the process.
He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, February 15 and pleaded guilty to two assault charges, two assaults on emergency workers, and a public order offense.
Police Sergeant Paul Relf, of the Medway Victim Based Crime Team, said: “This type of obnoxious behaviour demands a robust response from the local police patrols.
“Hospitality staff should not have to suffer abuse and violence and I am pleased Mack-Hudson has been sent straight to jail.
“He will also be subject to an exclusion order from both public houses and will have to seek his refreshment elsewhere when he is eventually released.”
