Crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called at 1:43am this morning (February 10) to an outbuilding fire at a commercial premises in Lowfield Street in Dartford.

Four fire engines were despatched to the scene and fire crews wearing breathing equipment used hose reel jets to put out the fire.

The fire was under control by 3:10am.

No injuries were reported and Kent Fire and Rescue Service say the fire is believed to have been caused accidentally by an electrical fault.

A spokesperson for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of an outbuilding fire at commercial premises in Lowfield Street, Dartford.

“Four fire engines attended, and crews wearing breathing apparatuses used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

“No injuries were reported, and it’s believed the fire was caused accidentally by an electrical fault.”
