Police and firefighters were at the home yesterday afternoon at around 12.50pm. Officers had riot shields and a battering ram.
Exceat Road in Shinewater, Eastbourne, was closed off before emergency services left.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Officers and emergency services dealt with the incident and were later stood down from the scene.”
The force said they were responding to a “medical incident”.
