A fishing trip led to a sighting of dolphins in the River Medway earlier today.
Tasha Lee-Williams, 22, captured footage of at least two of the creatures near the Medway City Estate, Strood.
They were gracefully bobbing in and out of the water before one leapt into the air,
Tasha, who comes from Gillingham, said: “We were near the Command House pub. I saw them as my Dad was fishing. I was thrilled to see them.”
That part of the River Medway, which is between the Strood estate and Chatham, is tidal.
It comes after three dolphins were spotted off the Kent coast yesterday.
The trio, which appeared from a distance to be common dolphins, were seen close to the Folkestone Harbour Arm.
Common dolphins can be found in waters all around the UK, but are more common to the southern and western coastal areas.
