With the theme this month being “something beginning with A” entries were varied from surfers (adrenaline) to flooding near Alfriston (awash).

As ever, it was tough to pick just a few runners-up and crown one snapper the winner.

We loved Tony Brent’s “architecture” entry which showed Worthing Dome cinema with a beautiful sunset behind it.

Annette Mary Radford scores double points with her entry “Awash in Alfriston” which showed flooding near the village and a beautiful morning sky.

Karen Casswell submitted “acrobatic blue tit” with a close up of the bird landing on a thorn.

Another brilliant close up shot was Joanna Kaczorowska’s “ant” entry climbing up a plant.

A very close second has to be Robb Banks’ “angel” entry of the Hove Peace Statue on the seafront surrounded by the fog.

But Louise Yates’s “acrobatics” entry comes out as our winner – a great shot of someone performing in Brighton Bandstand with a beautiful sunset behind. Well done Louise who wins £50.

This month’s theme is “history” – send us any picture that shows Sussex’s history or signs of times gone by.

Post your entry on The Argus Camera Club Facebook page, mentioning where it was taken. It is one entry per person and the deadline is midnight on February 29. As always, the winner will receive a £50 prize. Good luck.
