A road has been sealed off overnight after an unattended car was found with fire damage.
Police were called at around 12.20am to the A227 Wrotham Road, which remains partly closed between Meopham and Istead Rise.
Traffic can travel along Wrotham Road towards Gravesend but is prevented from coming in the opposite direction.
Inquiries are underway into the incident and the vehicle is awaiting recovery.
The fire service has been contacted for more information.
