Long-term forecasts from the area suggest that wintry weather could hit West Sussex on February 10.
The forecast states a centimetre an hour of snow is also set to fall overnight on Valentines Day.
Forecasting website WXCharts reports that snow is first set to fall in East Sussex around midday on February 10 before moving north towards London and Luton.
A much larger snowstorm is then set to hit Brighton overnight on February 14.

The large flurry is set to hit the city at around midnight and linger over Sussex until 6am.
The snow is expected to pass shortly before midday.
The long-range forecast by WXCharts is yet to be confirmed by the Met Office and is subject to change.
Light snow covered parts of the county earlier this month after a fall in temperatures.
Snow was spotted in Worthing, Crawley and on the South Downs with flurries also elsewhere.
The Met Office also issued weather warnings for ice in parts of the county when the snow hit Sussex earlier this year.
