These will mainly be on the A27 in the early hours of the morning for maintenance work.

Here’s a list of all of the closures from Friday, January 26 to Sunday, January 28 on Sussex’s main roads to be aware of.

M23, A23 and A27 road closures for Friday, January 26
M23
There are no closures for the M23 going into or out of Sussex on this day.
A23
On the A23 southbound way there will be an entry slip road closure at Handcross between 8pm and 6am for maintenance works.
A27
On the A27 westbound way from Ford Road roundabout to Fontwell East roundabout there will be a carriageway closure between 8pm and 6am for surface works.
Also on the westbound way, there will be an entry slip road closure at Langstone between 9pm and 6am for sweeping of the carriageway.
Meanwhile, on the eastbound way, there will be a carriageway closure between Fishbourne and Stockbridge for surface works between 8pm and 5am.
Finally, a carriageway closure will take place on the eastbound way between Manor Road roundabout and Adur for construction of new roundabout between 9pm and 6am.

In both directions on the A27 between Mill Lane and Offington roundabout, there will be a carriageway closure for surface works from 8pm to 6am.
