North Yorkshire Police have issued an urgent appeal to trace Jack Crawley, from Carlisle, following the attempted murder of a man near Acaster Malbis, York, on Friday, January 5. 

Police say they need to speak to him in connection with the incident and are urging Jack to contact them or his family. 

The 19-year-old, who may be using the pseudonym Kyle, has links to Glasgow and officers are asking the public the report any possible sightings of him but have been told not to approach him.

Jack also has links to Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Leeds and Rotherham and may be travelling around different locations. 

He is described as white and  6ft 3ins tall with a proportionate build, very short hair and short facial hair.

He is left-handed and wears size 9.5 footwear.

Anyone who believes they have seen Jack or has any information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police HERE.
