Manhunt after ‘gang of seven’ set upon victim in Canterbury street attack - UK Daily: Tech, Science, Business & Lifestyle News Updates


Police are hunting a trio after a seven-strong gang reportedly attacked their victim in the street.

Officers released CCTV stills today after the man was seriously injured while out with two friends in St George’s Street, Canterbury.

The group are said to have approached the man in his 20s before punching and kicking him to the ground near the junction with Whitefriars Street.

He managed to leave the area and report the attack to police at about 5am on Sunday, December 10.

The victim suffered head injuries that required hospital treatment in the Canterbury attack.

Officers would like to identify and speak to the three men pictured as they may have information which could assist the investigation.
