Edward Bunce is being sought by Sussex Police over a robbery in Seaside, Eastbourne, on New Year’s Day.
Bunce, 37, has also been linked to a burglary in Hawthorn Road in November.
Residents have been told not to approach him if they see him and to call police.

Bunce is said to have links to Eastbourne and Brighton as well as Greater Manchester and Lancashire.
He is 5ft 7ins and thin with dark brown hair. He has tattoos on his left arm and sometimes has a moustache or beard.
A police spokeswoman said: “If you see Bunce, or have any information about his whereabouts, dial 999 quoting crime reference 47230236174. Do not approach him.”
