Met Office issues ice weather warning for parts of Sussex - UK Daily: Tech, Science, Business & Lifestyle News Updates

The Met Office said icy patches and wintry showers will affect some areas on Monday morning, leading to potentially slower journeys.

The warning comes into force from 4am and ends at 10am and covers parts of Surrey, Kent and Sussex.

In Sussex, the warning covers from Petworth in the west, to beyond Crowborough in the east and up to Crawley.

What to Expect

  • Some roads and railways likely to be affected by ice, (and in a few places by snow), leading to longer journey times
  • Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths, making accidents or injuries more likely
