Police confirmed that a man who was missing from Burgess Hill has been found dead.
Officers first put out an appeal to find the 43-year-old on December 27.
A spokesman for the force said: “We are deeply sorry to report that Jamie, who was reported missing from Burgess Hill, has been found deceased.
“His next of kin have been informed and there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
“Our thoughts are with Jamie’s loved ones at this tragic time.”
