Southeastern has confirmed that the works would be completed by 9.30am today (December 27) with some disruption expected until 11.30am.

Trains through Nunhead Station may still be cancelled, delayed, or revised.

The issue comes after the engineering work between Nunhead, Shortlands, Swanley, Otford, Grove Park and Hildenborough was not finished on time.

Due to this, all lines via Bromley South, Swanley, Orpington & Sevenoaks were blocked.

All lines have since reopened.

Trains running via Sole Street, Orpington, Shortlands, Bromley South and Grove Park have been delayed, altered, or cancelled.
