Brighton drug dealer caught with 94 MDMA pills in bedroom - UK Daily: Tech, Science, Business & Lifestyle News Updates



Lee Baker, 34, was caught with drugs in his bedroom at his home in Grove Hill, Brighton.

On August 10, police entered his home and used a machine to test “white powder” and pills which were confirmed to be cocaine and MDMA.

Baker had three mobile phones which were seized, young cannabis plants, as well as £2,000 in cash which he claimed was for a car he sold, the court heard.

It was described as a “small-scale drug operation” and the drugs had a total value of around £400.

Most of the messages on his phone related to selling cannabis, the court heard.

He earned money buying cars and worked part-time helping with a friend’s landscaping business.

Baker had 24 convictions between 2005 and 2017.

District Judge Amanda Kelly sentenced Baker to two years and three months in prison for two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, and six weeks in prison running concurrently for being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.
