Brighton and much of West Sussex are encompassed in the warning area, where heavy rain is expected to cause some disruption to travel.

The Met Office has issued the warning from 12am until 6pm tomorrow.

It warns residents in the area to expect spray and flooding on roads to make journey times longer.

The national weather service also said flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible.

A spokesman for the Met Office said: “Bus and train services will probably affected and journey times are expected to take longer.”

In Brighton, the temperature will hover around 8C throughout the day, but with strong winds of up to 30mph as well as heavy rain it will feel more like 5C.

Though it will be very wet it looks like the rain wont hang around for too long as Tuesday afternoon is forecast to be dry.
