The firm estimates that its products, through intelligent EV charging and enhanced usage of renewable energy, could be aiding UK households in saving over £68 million annually on energy expenses.
Established in 2016, myenergi has seen over half of its products distributed within the UK, with the rest reaching global customers. In the UK alone, the collective flexible capacity from myenergi’s devices in homes is nearly 500MW – surpassing the 470MW capacity of the Hinckley Point A nuclear power station. This positions the company to significantly contribute to the national grid’s efforts in balancing energy supply and demand.
Moreover, the company’s analysis indicates that households equipped with both the zappi smart EV charger and the eddi power diverter could potentially save upwards of £500 each year. This saving is notably higher than the relief provided by the UK government’s Energy Bills Rebate during the 2022 energy crisis.
