Barry Cook, 48, went missing on Tuesday and police think he could be sleeping rough in the Hastings or St Leonards area.
He also has links to Worthing and Lancing.
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: “We’re searching for Barry Cook, who is wanted for a non-violent domestic incident.
“The 48-year-old has links to Worthing and Lancing, but was last seen in St Leonards yesterday.
“Please share and dial 999 if you see him, quoting crime reference 47230225155.
“It’s possible he may be rough sleeping, and due to concerns around the inclement weather, we will be deploying further resources to try and locate him.”
