Sussex Police received a report that at around 5am on Sunday, August 10, the 17-year-old victim was sitting on a bench in Dyke Road, near to the North Street junction, Brighton, when a man approached him and asked for help finding a shop that was open. The victim assisted the man, before being taken to an address in Regent Hill where the rape was reported to have taken place.
