The Gartocher Pub, which sits on Shettleston Road, dates back to around 1937 and became famed for its stunning Art Deco design. On Saturday, officers were called to a path near Rookwood Golf Course in Robin Hood Lane, Horsham, at around 11.40am by a member of the public assisting a woman in distress. A casualty on the tracks was reported at Stone Crossing station just before 12.40am yesterday (April 6).  Officers and South East Coast Ambulance crews attended, however, the person was pronounced dead.  The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
