A sexual assault on board the number 24 bus to Hollingbury, which occurred on April 11 at around 6pm, was recently reported to Sussex Police.  This incident is being linked to another sexual assault which was reported to have taken place on board the number 29 bus to Tunbridge Wells on September 3, 2024, at around 5pm.  It was alleged that a man sat closely next to women on the bus and put his hand on their thighs from under his coat which was placed on his lap during the incidents.  Both were reported to have happened near the Old Steine in Brighton.
