Glasgow City Council has begun a consultation on the new timings, which include moving the spring break slightly earlier to accommodate the Easter weekend. The annual holiday traditionally takes place in the first two weeks of April, but as Easter weekend falls earlier in 2027, education bosses are considering the change.
