Police were called to St Ann’s Well Gardens in Hove at around 11.40am today, June 4, following a report of a man in possession of a knife.  An extensive search of the area was carried out, however no suspect was traced. Emergency services rushed to the scene on the M8 westbound at junction 27 (Arkleston) following reports of a ‘bridge strike’ at around 2.50pm today. Cops have completely shut down the westbound carriageway to allow for recovery after the crash.  Nearby Arkleston Road in Renfrew has also been closed. The men entered Leightons Opticians in The Orchards Shopping Centre, Haywards Heath on Tuesday, May 13, at around 5pm. The first suspect wore a light blue baseball cap with an ‘A’ on it, a white vest, tan coloured jeans, and carried a rucksack.
