The incident took place outside the Duke of Devonshire in Terminus Road, Eastbourne, at around 11am on June 23.  The man, who was wearing a green shirt and is in his 50s, was pushed to the floor by another man after trying to intervene in an argument outside the pub. After getting back up, the man walked towards North Street but was followed and further assaulted.
