The thunderstorm warning from the Met Office will be in place from 9pm tomorrow (July 18) until 6pm on Saturday (July 19). Stephen Ward, CLC’s head of strategy and external relations Confidence in the property market amongst conveyancers has fallen in the wake of spring’s stamp duty hike, according to new research from the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC). Analysis of the third quarterly CLC Confidence Tracker shows that 65% feel confident in the stability of the current market. It is down from 72% when the same question was asked three months ago. Senior figures from across the industry have responded to Zoopla’s latest research, published today, that reports that one million UK homes having seen a value increase of 50% or more over the past five years, with an average increase of £117,400.
