easyJet has launched ‘the first flights and package holidays’ on a new year-round route from the city’s airport to Prague in the Czech Republic. The new twice-weekly service began on Thursday, November 7. It will operate every Thursday and Sunday throughout the year. Arun District Councillors voted to allocate a further £3 million to support the Alexandra Theatre project in Bognor Regis. The decision was made at a meeting of the Full Council on Wednesday, following debate, the vote was recorded with 41 councillors voting for the additional funding, one against and seven abstentions. The district council was awarded £12.19 million of Levelling Up funding to restore the theatre and will now contribute £3 million of its own money to the scheme. Officers have shut Dumbarton Road in the city’s West End following a crash involving a motor and a pedestrian. Cops were called to the incident at around 5.40pm on Thursday, November 7.
