Crews were called to Farm Road, Hove, at around 5pm this evening. Four fire engines attended the flat fire which was believed to be in a courtyard set back from the road. Coopers Cask pub shut for the night and was evacuated as crews dealt with the blaze nearby. Firefighters started leaving the scene at 8pm but will reinspect the area later this evening.
