The Level, in Brighton, is a busy park that has been without public toilets for more than a year, in part due to anti-social behaviour.  Now, the council is discussing the most affordable ways to reintroduce toilet facilities, which could be to introduce a café with toilets to one of the existing buildings. Discovery Sports today announced it has reached an agreement with Tennis Australia to broadcast the Australian Open live and exclusively on a pan-European basis through to 2031. Plans for the 555-bedroom project were initially refused by Lewes District Council but an appeal from developers saw the decision overturned. The council said at the time that the “incongruous” buildings would “compromise the transition urban environment of Brighton to the South Downs”.
