Amazon announced on Tuesday that it’s expanding access to its healthcare AI assistant to its website and app. The assistant, called Health AI, was previously only available on the app for One Medical, the healthcare company Amazon acquired for $3.9 billion in 2023. Health AI can answer questions, explain health records, manage prescription renewals, book appointments, and more. Users don’t need to be Prime subscribers or One Medical members to use the assistant, Amazon says. Amazon says that while Health AI can answer general health questions without having access to an individual’s medical information, it’s designed to serve as a…

The court heard that members of the public had spotted a man and a woman together in the park area at 9.05am on June 22, 2025. The woman looked distressed and shortly later, they were on the ground with the man lying on top of her. Three witnesses recognised the victim’s distress and called police and when officers responded to the scene, they found her distraught and George lying next to her. He told them the woman was…

Wednesday 11 March 2026 12:16 am | Updated: Wednesday 11 March 2026 12:20 am Louis Theroux is back at his best in new manosphere documentary Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere review and star rating: ★★★★There was a time when Louis Theroux could have done a documentary about paint drying and no one would have dared say anything bad about it. But then over the past few years some of his BBC films have felt like weaker rehashes of topics he’s been over before, in particular some of his stories about America, which felt meandering and lacked focus. It might have looked…
Crews remain on Union Street nearly three days after the blaze broke out at a four-storey commercial property in the area. Every year, March comes, and companies acknowledge International Women’s Day with pledges and campaigns. The workforce data is telling a more heartbreaking story, though. In the States, women held about 26% of computing roles in 2012, according to the National Centre for Women and Information Technology. A decade later, that reached 27.6%. The narrower computing only share is near 25%. In 1984, women made up about 35% of the computing workforce, based on research compiled by AIPRM. Progress has not reversed that long term drop. In the UK, women represent 25% of the STEM workforce in 2025, according to WomenTech.net.…

It’s a move that echoes a successful social media strategy for both…
Joseph Paradiso thinks that the most engaging research questions usually span disciplines. Paradiso was trained as a physicist and completed his PhD in experimental high-energy physics at MIT in 1981. His father was a photographer and filmmaker working at MIT, MIT Lincoln Laboratory, and the MITRE Corporation, so he grew up in a house where artists, scientists, and engineers regularly gathered and interesting music was always playing. That mix of influences led him to the MIT Media Lab, where he is the Alexander W. Dreyfoos Professor, academic head of the Program in Media Arts and Sciences, and director of the Responsive Environments research group. At…
